Gun free only means a law abiding citizen with a gun permit will either being carrying illegally or not at all when the criminal decides to start shooting.

This is a sad story though.

Apparently it was police officer. I have a few family members who are police officers in that area.

Edit: Wikipedia says that Kristin Datillo played Janie. No mention of the mysterious bikini girl.
