Hello Everyone!
I am trying to get a little advice. We will be traveling to UT this year for the LSU game. (as long as we don't get nailed by another hurricane) We will be traveling in our motorhome and wondering what advice you can give us. Is there a vistors lot for motorhomes? We will be towing our car also... Anyway, are there any recommendations that you can make?
We are really looking forward to visiting y'all.

Thanks a bunch!

I wish I knew...I know they are building a Game Day RV Park for UT donors...but I have no idea about how visitors are accomodated...hopefully somebody here can help you out.

i would suggest, depending on the size of the thing, parking in one of the lots on cumberland...get there EARLY!!!! it's been a couple of years, but the 1st Tennessee bank lot has had RV's parked there before...and there's some other lots on Cumberland on the west side of volunteer blvd that are RV compatible i think as well...

either way, i'd get where ever you are going early...and go vols. have a nice trip...had a good time with some LSU fans in 01 when you guys came up the last time.

There is a lot down Neyland that always seems to house a few visiting RV's?

Kristy I would check with the Atheletic Department at UT. We don't have near the parking you guys have. I was there last year for the best Monday Night Football game EVER, and visited with some LSU folks in the RV lot and they were talking about how bad the parking is and I laughed. It may be a pasture you guys have but at least it is parking.

But you can get some information here.

Good luck and I hope you guys avoid another Hurricane also.

You were there for the MNF game? I'm jealous.

It was great. I can honestly say that I finally knew what it felt like to be a Vandy fan at a road game. It seemed like we only had a couple hundred fans there (I know there were more but that is how it seemed). They had us up in the far corner and in the first half it was brutal! When we took it in and sent the game to over time I almost fainted from hollering so loud and jumping. That place went from atomic loud to pin drop quiet! I can say that I have never gone through the full range of emotions in one game like that ever. I will never forget that game.
