He's absolutely correct in that the CWS event is such a great event. I will also add that it is an affordable event for families. I have been twice and will say that from tickets prices to parking, I have been pleasantly surprised at how affordable the events has been.
I would disagree about affordability, For a family of 5 and 5 days at CWS this year ran me almost 5k.

5 days? Good gosh that is a little bit different context because that is darn near a vacation. Well we drove up from KC for one day. Our family of 4 spent $60 on tickets, $15 on parking. Spent more at Fan Fest. Pretty affordable.

Wow. You went all out. I did not have to buy tickets but bought most meals for four. Room was $200 a night 3 star great room. Meals were about the same as anywhere else. Drove so gas was about $350. Not really because I was on motorcycle. Played extreme putt putt 2 nights which was $200. Bought souvenirs for about $250. Total about $2,300. Watching my kid pitch twice and look like an athlete on one play along with spending a large amount of time with him and his girlfriend. PRICELESS

I’m gonna paraphrase my takeaway from CTV’s final post game from Omaha…

Want our stadium to get bigger and rowdier, we want our roster to be competitive as anybody’s. The indoor facilities these kids train in…social media, every game is covered…

I think our sport, I’m prejudice, I think our sport more than any other collegiate sport has more momentum and is on a greater incline than any other. This thing here has become an absolute party in Omaha. They do a good job of hosting.

The trajectory is not going to slow down.

Who do ya’ll think that was intended for?

Question: is Frank Anderson retiring? Though I'm confident CTV will find a great replacement, I really like Coach Anderson. He reminds me of George Cafego.
Baseball coaches retire when they can't walk lol Bruce Bochy retired And came back after 2 years to manage the Rangers. He said quote "the wife didn't like it at all because I came back"

Most days. If he acts up, he is his mama's kid.
Let me just say most of you would love the putt putt. It was an adult putt putt setting. After 7, had to be 21 to enter. It was 4 9 hole courses that had a game at every hole before you putted to see where you putted from. There was one hole you started in a Partridge Family bus and another you started the hole in an old VW van. It was great fun. The group in front of us had to take a shot every time there was a hole in one. When they started they seemed to be good golfers. By the end, not so much..o_O
But a great time with Kirby and his GF both nights and walking distance to his hotel.
