Hello everyone. It's Monday, so here's my 2 cents for the upcoming week.

~Thoughts on Kentucky~

A lot of people might think that we're the worst team in the SEC, but that title belongs to Kentucky. So far, they have won a total of 2 games against a winless Miami (OH) team and Alabama State. As far as I know, the only SEC game that they were remotely competitive in was against vandy. They tend to play somewhat good at the beginning of games, but then get worse as the game progresses.

The only thing that gives me a little concern is that both of their QBs (They use a 2 QB system) can run with the ball. From what I've seen, they like to run with the ball more than pass. Their defense doesn't really scare me. Overall, this shouldn't be too challenging of a game.

~Keys to the game~

Offense: They have to get the running game going early and convert 3rd downs. Must limit turnovers! They also need to score TDs in the red zone, not FGs.

Defense: They must contain both QBs. Just like last game, they need to force turnovers to help the offense.

~Prediction: 24-10 Vols. Not only is Kentucky 2-9, but they have recently suspended and dismissed several players on the team. Even though the vols have struggled this year, I still give them the edge.

~Latest Recruiting News

1. Jakob Johnson and Owen Williams are the 2 newest commits in the 2014 class.

2. Josh Malone will be announcing the school he will attend on Dec 4th between Tennessee, UGA, FSU, and Clemson.

Thanks for reading, and have a great day. :)

The FF is full of cliff jumpers and trolls. It's just not a place for a half glass full person like me.

I'll be honest. I not sure if the UT glass is half full or half empty right now, but the misery and doom and gloom of the FF is just unbearable.

I do believe that brighter days are ahead. Next year may not be much better than this year because our team will still be young. I hope they surprise me though. 2015 is the year I think we will start contending again. Is that a half full or half empty attitude?

At this point in the season, I don't think it's about which team is better or more talented; it's about which team wants it more and is willing to fight the hardest for the longest. I'd like to think that we'll come out and play smash-mouth football for four qtrs, but it's hard to know which UT team will show up. Doubt we'll be throwing much, though, and UK's mobile QB could give us fits.
