Gainesville, GA- Top rated linebacker AJ Johnson has already had a pretty full recruiting cycle. And it’s only March of his junior year. A.J. committed to Tennessee very soon after his last visit to Knoxville. However when the news broke of Lane Kiffin’s departure, he withdrew that commitment. At this point the star linebacker has [...]

I wish you guys would stop posting false information. fijivol and numerous other expert posters have assured us that CDD is NOT IN ON THE BEST RECRUITS.

Please stop reinforcing this false impression that the current staff is energetically recruiting the best talent.

So it seems he wasn't in love with the previous staff but more of the school itself. Hopefully when he comes he gets a good feel for the new staff and gets the same feeling he did when he steps on campus.

By the way I have a question about Johnson and us. If you go to Rivals it has him listing 8 schools with medium interest and 7 schools with low interest and we fall into the low category. Why is that? He clearly states that we're still in the mix...

A lot of times they are just slow to update the players profile.

sounds like UT has a realistic chance to get this kid back. one good thing is that his position coach, Thompson, will be a familiar face.

Hubbs said that AJ was at the scrimmage yesterday and was seen having long discussions with Wilcox and Thompson pre scrimmage.

Because Richt is terrible at evaluating his in-state talent.

Just look at Ambles, Neal, Copeland, and Taylor from last year.

Yeah, I know that much, but how can he really pass on this guy? Ridiculous! 'Tis why he won't be there very much longer. Fulmer v2.

Now now.. A consistant 10 game winner is good for Georgia not to mention the teams that have the ability to win it all and fall of the face of College Football.. :)

Any word on how the visit went? Did he even show up?

I realize that Dooley's got a tighter lid on things, but you'd think something would be out by now... unless I missed the "he isn't coming/didn't come" post.

They said he was here, not sure how it went except I heard he was talking to coaches and seemed engaged to what hey were saying. Also, he was at practice watching.

Thanks - yah, I heard he was talking pretty intently with the coaches, which is good. I guess I was just hoping for word of a recommitment!

Doubt you will hear about recommitting for a while. I think he is going to enjoy the recruiting process for as long as he can.
