<img src="http://www.volnation.com/images/barry-brunetti.jpg" style="padding:10px;" align="left" />The Nittany Lions have a commitment from the top quarterback prospect in Pennsylvania: P.J. Jones from McKees Rocks (Pa.) Sto-Rox. It is no secret they want to sign two at the position this recruiting season.
One of those they are after will spend today in State College, Memphis (Tenn.) University star Barry Brunetti.
Brunetti flew into Charlotte, N.C., on Thursday afternoon. He is flying to Pittsburgh this morning, and then driving to State College.
I visit Penn State (today), Brunetti said. Once I get done with that visit, I drive to Morgantown on Saturday. Ill be at West Virginia on Saturday, and then I fly home on Sunday.
The 6-foot-2 and 210-pound Brunetti had a huge junior season. He passed for 1,427 yards and 19 touchdowns and rushed for close to 1,000 yards and 18 touchdowns. Brunetti did all this despite playing only three full games. He led University to a 13-0 record and a state championship. But many of the 13 wins were by large margins so Brunetti rarely played the entire game.

Brunetti has over a half dozen scholarship offers and that number is on the rise.
I just got a verbal offer from Tennessee, Brunetti said. Im supposed to get one from Ole Miss. Penn State, West Virginia, Mississippi State, Marshall, Tulsa and Duke have offered. Those are the ones I can think of.
This trip marks the first time Brunetti has visited either Penn State or West Virginia, but those two schools already have an advantage.
The three schools sticking out in my mind for the last couple weeks are Penn State, West Virginia and Mississippi State, Brunetti said. After these two visits this weekend Ill go home and do my pros and cons of each school.
When asked if he might commit to either school this weekend, Brunetti said, I dont think so. I want to decide sometime in July.</td></tr></table>
