Justin Worley, QB, 6’4, 195, Rock Hill(Northwestern)SC One would be hard pressed to find a quarterback in this class who has been more productive through the air than Rock Hill Northwestern standout Justin Worley. Over the past two seasons Worley has combined for an astounding 712 completions, 1128 attempts, 8007 passing yards (4366 as [...]

I hope he makes his commitment soon. I don't know why but it seems a lot of kids wait to see what kind of QB a team gets before they commit.

I agree with Major_Orange. I think it will be easier for us to get some star power O-Line prospects with a bigtime QB committ in the class...as well as a couple of upper tier WR's and a RB to add to the stable.

Thought we already had big time QB commits in Bray and Nance...what more does a OL person need to see...:clapping:

Unless Bray or Nance are starting this and are visible to recruits, they often identify more with a highly regarded kid in their own class. Covering ND the players like Michael Floyd, John Goodman, and Kyle Rudolph talked more about Dayne Crist than they did Jimmy Clausen, despite the fact Clausen was ranked higher and already starting. Crist was in their class, they talked to him, and could identify with him. That's one way Worley would really help this years recruiting quite a bit.

Agreed. He's been on campus several times already so I think we have a good shot.

Picking up his commitment would make me feel really good about the class....I know it's still really early but a stud like him would help a lot towards landing other recruits IMO

Exactly my point.....thank you.

It really didn't work that way last year...

Bray was not an early commit. If you remember our QB search was troublesome last year to say the least.

I was thinking the same thing. If Worley does commit early, I will find it funny how last year, Kiffin went on and on about how difficult it is to land a QB with a new staff since it takes so long to build relationships. Then Dooley comes in and lands one right away. :birgits_giggle:

That's because talking to Kiffin is like talkin to a wall. No personality, except for a snake. It's difficult to build a relationship with a snake that you can't get a feel for.

I actually think you are right about Bray committing first now that I think about it. Bray committed on like the Tuesday after the WKU game.

Cobbs, Miller, and Willis all 3 committed on the Monday after the UCLA game.

iirc.
