By Billy Tucker Scouts Inc. We expect a great matchup and a potentially high-scoring contest when two of the better high school programs from the Southeast square off in a highly anticipated interstate contest Friday night. Last season head coach Lance Pogue’s South Panola squad went 14-1 and fell just short of attaining back-to-back Mississippi state [...]

Related to the article though. I'd be very surprised if MUS pulled this one out. South Panola is very very very good, probably much better than an HS team in Tennessee.

Memphis Univ. H.S. is leading in the first half even though the momentum shifted to S. Panola about midway thru the second quarter. Brunetti was not that accurate but has a strong arm. Brunetti avoided alot of pass rushes by stepping up in the pocket. The score at the half is 21-7 in favor of Memphis.

Watching the game...

I am sure Brunetti is a fine young man, but he is not UT material. Sorry.

He's highly inaccurate with average arm strength at best. He's missed several wide open receivers -- throws that a DI quarterback should make. He does, however, throw a pretty ball and can scramble very well.

I have seen this kid play a lot of times in person and this is by far the worst performance of his career.

Memphis is barely hanging on with lead with about 4 minute left in the game. 21-19 in favor of Memphis. Maybe Brunetti like you said is having a bad game. This sure makes Bray look good.

I've seen a lot of video, but never in person. South Panola is contributing to his troubles with their defense, but these are the games where guys like Brunetti have to perform.

I am sure we will do just fine at West Virginia.

I agree I'm sure he's a great kid , throws a pretty ball but not to anyone. Looked like me back there sometimes by just throwing it in the dirt.
