By Steve Wiltfong IrishSportsDaily.com. ESPNU 150 prospect Michael Taylor (Atlanta, Ga./Westlake) being told he’s too small to be a productive linebacker on the next level, is the least of his concerns. His passion to make plays on the football field come from much deeper than that. On the gridiron, hardships in life, drive the 6-foot-1, 195-pound Taylor, including in [...]

We need to wrap this kid up. I do not want to lose his commitment. Do you think that the coaches know that he is wavering?

I think these coaches are all over it. Under Fulmer would be different

I don't mean to bash the kid but it worries me when I hear any recruit say that he has to see what he can get out of a program. I hope he's just talking about a potential degree. I find it amusing to see NDs TV contract as an attraction. I would think more people pay attention to SEC/ESPN then they do ND/NBC. Does anyone really care about Irish football anymore?

ND is going throught the same thing we did last season about this time of year. Scrambling to put a staff together, keep commitments committed, and try to steal a few in the process. I don't think Taylor de-commits. He's stuck by his commitment the whole process. I think it may an infactuation, or mystic, but I feel he's solid and is going to look around. He knows what his role here will be and our staff is more than aware of which teams are trying to jack our recruits.

i agree. he's finally getting some props for his play and he wants to stir things up a bit. i don't like it, but i understand it. i have confidence he'll be a Vol. he's Monte's LB of the future!

I would like everybody to take a deep breath and remember last year about this time where Oku's mind was wandering... And look where he is now. I am of the mind that everything will turn out peachy with Taylor.

The kid is just enjoying the newfound attention being MVP of his team's defense in the AA game is bringing. Don't be concerned. Monte is big here.

This kid should move to a 4 star in the new Rivals rankings BTW.

This is the best time of the year...get ready for a wild ride. We will have multiple commits visiting other schools while hosting tons of other schools commits.

Hopefully we don't lose any and we can pull a couple in the end.

I tell you one thing from browsing TOS this morning we are really in on a TON of prospects so the possibilities for the end of this class are really endless.

Exactly. Plus who is the best ND player in the NFL right now. Brady Quinn? When was the last time they even had a stand out defensive player and Kelly is not known as a defensive guy. I'm a little concerned but I think he comes to Knoxville.

Notre Dame is a joke, a tired unfunny useless joke. The only thing I hate more than notre dame are drunk drivers that kill people.
