I thought he was a freshman at his JUCO and that would mean he would be a soph once he enrolls here and would have three years to play or am I wrong?

I really believe Rivera will be a Vol. Unless....... the dreaded math class screws him up too!!! I really wish the SEC would do away with that stupid rule for JUCO guys.

I just looked him up on Rivals and it has similar Tight Ends on the screen. Harrison Jones out of Tennessee was listed. I pulled him up and he had offers from Vandy, Stanford, Florida St, Oklahoma and ended up picking Alabama in late August. Good ole' fence builder X we had in here never offered him.

Interesting information and disappointing to hear. I hope CDD is able to build a higher fence!

This guy originally committed to Oregon... not sure why he went JUCO... but from his rivals interview, he said that Tennessee had the best facilities he had ever seen... and that he was surprised because he didn't think anyone could top Oregon. He also said it wouldn't come down to just the quality of facilities... but he sounds pretty impressed.

I got this from Freaks post

The tight ends coach (Eric Russell) just came over from Texas Tech

so Russell is going to be the tight ends coach too ?

Crazy good or crazy bad?

In regards to his statement about all the coaches (3) who have coached Tight Ends before. Makes you wonder whether this is a good thing or he feels that is a unstable or going to be a confusing situation.

There must be some natural connection to K-state for it to be considered. I think I'd eat a bullet if I had to contemplate spending the next three years on that campus.

So he likes the idea of being with a couple coaches that have NFL tight-end experience and says the facilities are the best he's ever seen.

I'll go out on a limb and say he announces: Volunteers
