this is doubtful and probably a wish upon a star at best but what if eventually we had jeff luc from this years class at mlb, and then this curtis grant kid and a.j. johnson from the 2011 class on the outsides? HOW SICK WOULD THAT BE?!?!?!?

We don't want Cam. I don't know why so many people want him so much.

I guess like me they are enamored by his physical attributes. I would much rather have Bray or another QB with elite potential than Cam for sure.

I believe in giving kids a second chance though.

Look, all the Munchie haters. If this coaching staff wants Munchie, I will take their opinions over ya'lls any day.

If they can do something with Munchie then so be it. But I hope they are not trying to just settle on the boy because we have no hopes of getting anyone else. I trust their judgement over mine, but we passed over him for bigger fish. I hope we get one of those bigger fish

Who is "WE?" Are you practicing your French or did you become part of the football staff, all of a sudden? I sure hope you aren't delusional enough to think you're speaking for the average Vol fan. This is a Pontification-Free Zone. Persist and there will be...trouble. :)

I agree with JMVA Cam is not what we want. He is the next Vick/ Young. He is not a Qb Ut wants. I think munchie is being looked at for something besides QB

Did we not tell Taj Boyd he didn't fit our system because he was a duel threat?

No.

1) Boyd isn't even 6'feet tall.

2) He is not a dual threat at all.

3) His arm strength is not on par with your typical pro-style QB.

Forget about Boyd. He might have a decent career at Clemson at some point but he's redshirting this year. He couldn't even beat out a walk-on to be the backup.

If you all were expecting him to come in here this year and run the place you were sorely mistaken.

One of two things here IMO. Either they are recruiting Munchie as an athlete. Or they are recruiting him as the #2 QB in this class. Remember they originally wanted to and felt they could sign 2 QB's in this class. I dont see it any other way. There is no way they are recruiting him as the #1 QB.

Who wants Michael Vick or Vince Young. Yuck. Being ranked #1 or #2 in the country sucks. Gross!

Seriously though, I don't think the staff wants him either but if he were actually as good as Vick or Young... they'd take him in a heartbeat and they'd alter the offense a bit while they are here. You don't just pass on Michael Vick or Vince Young caliber of players. Doesn't happen.

With Kyle Parker starting, Boyd may not get meaningful playing time at Clemson until 2011 or even 2012.
