How in the world am I the only one that put UCONN in 1st place. Not disrespect to Duke, but come on if you've seen them play and you've seen UCONN play it seems evident UCONN is the better team.

Ummm...UTK beat that same team by 30 @ Texas! So, UTK should be co-#1 with Duke? Texas never was and never will (at least during this season) be the second best team in the country. No next question, just a few facts to throw out there. And if you are arguing of Duke being the #1 team you sholdn't start throwing out the reasoning of margin of victory. You don't want to pull out their margin of victory against some very infrerior opponents so far this season.

You make some valid points...but at the time they played them, on a neutral court..Duke destroyed the #2 team and looked very good in doing it, they didn't break a sweat...Texas is a very good basketball team, stay tuned(at least 3, maybe 4 NBA players on that squad). Uconn is Very good and I have seen them play, but Duke plays D, they have the best player in the country, and arguably the best coach in the country.

They do have the best coach in the country. I will definately give them that. JJ Reddick is a great college basketball player, but I (only my opinion) wouldn't say he is the best player in the country. I think Duke is deserving of the #1 ranking. I'm not saying its ridiculous to put them in that spot. But, I think UCONN is just as deserving and am just "surprised" that nobody else that voted in the poll had them in that positon. That was really all I was saying.

I actually thought about ranking them #1 for a second or two myself...it just ultimately came down to what both teams had accomplished to this point
