Florida gets the most first place votes, but is is second. Interesting. Must've really been low on one or two polls.

Like 'em or not, with all 5 starters returning from a national "chomp"-ionship team, I felt like Florida deserved the nod as #1 to open the year.

I agree - this is pretty cool. Hopefully, more voters will join us as the season gets going. Looks like a pretty good opening poll. :good!:

I think we need to make our polls public.:)
I don't think I even had Florida in my top 5. UNC and KU are going to be the teams to beat this year. Last year, Florida got hot at the right time and was able to avoid the most talented teams in the tournament.

Finally someone who sees it the same way I do. I do not think that UF was the best team in the nation by any stretch of the imagination last year. That being said, they return a lot of talent from last years team and I think that they are definitely a top 5 team, but UNC and KU are the teams to beat.
