Am I the only one who gives South Florida props? They are definitely the best team south of Gainesville this season.

But this year that's like being the valedictorian at summer school...
They are 7-2 so far. Although, I doubt they will beat Louisville or West Virginia, if they do, then they would definitely deserve to be in the Top 25, right?

Most definitely.

Sorry I didn't get my Top 25 in today, OrangeSquare. Too much going on here at the homestead. I'll definitely be voting next week (unless we don't beat Vandy  ).

Oh don't be a downer, tc. Fight and vote through the pain!

I'm sorry, I just can't do it if UT loses to Vanderbilt again. It doesn't matter because Ainge will be healthy, and UT will beat Vandy... so I'll be voting!

They're 7-3, actually. I have them in my top 40, and were thhhhhhhhhhhis close to being in my top 25, so you aren't alone in liking the Bulls. If they had beaten Kansas or Cincinnati, they'd be in mine.

Florida's loss is to Auburn and USC's loss is to a PAC 10 doormat...so why do we have USC ranked higher?

I think it had more to do with last week's wins than the team's losses.

Florida all but officially lost to SC and USC handled a decent Oregon team pretty well.

I think USC is the better team, regardless of their geographical location.

I think Florida has walked a fine line with a number of games this season. That was due to the offense. I think Florida is better than USC because of defense. I think USC would have problems scoring against Florida. Both great teams. Was just pointing out that with who they lost to it is weird for USC to be ahead of Florida or truthfully even Notre Dame for that matter. Although, I do not think Notre Dame is as good as either USC or Florida. But, their one loss is to the #2 team.

Remember though, with Auburn's loss to Georgia this past week-end, that loss by Florida isn't as impressive.
