its not a MAGA thing. its a preexisting anti-capitalism thing. they have just turned it into a MAGA thing because Trump is in power now.

there have been several of these "nationwide" "boycotts" in the past. at least back in the day they chose significant dates to do these hold outs. like last day of a quarter to make the quarter look bad, even though it shows up in the next quarter. or before some big market move, or something going public on the trading market.

they have probably lost that little bit of nuance.
