The University of Tennessee baseball team and Head Coach Todd Raleigh announced the schedule for the upcoming 2011 campaign on Tuesday. Highlighting the slate are eight series against teams that made the NCAA Tournament last year, including home sets against defending national champion South Carolina, Milwaukee, Ole Miss and Auburn.

Wow, really toned down the OOC schedule. Really should not have a problem being undefeated heading into conference play. But that's not likely.

The OOC is PATHETIC.....Raleigh has come to the realization that he's a dead man walking and has practically scheduled a D2 non-conference schedule

Opening against UW Milwaukee...and several other weak teams. Hope the wins against these weaker teams gives them the boost they need to go into SEC play. Maybe Raleigh wont have his come-aparts this year. Maybe its the new and improved Raleigh..maybe...nahh... it will be the same same old TR.. maybe he will take his meds this year. Good luck to the team.

I see Raleigh still hasn't gotten over his (well-justified) fear of the ETSU Bucs.

He should be fired just for losing to, and then ducking ETSU.

Don't know who Wisconsin-Milwaukee's coach is, but watch them kick our butts to open the season and then their coach gets hired by UT after the season. Hamilton will figure if it worked once...

While the OOC schedule is pretty weak, I would almost guarantee there will be losses sprinkled in here and there. Baseball, more than any other major sport, is a game where one team can beat the other on any given day. This, coupled with UT's recent struggles, doesn't bode well for an undefeated OOC slate.

Wow. Lipscomb and Belmont have really gone down since they moved to D1.. Only 19 wins last year. When I was in college and they were NAIA, LU, Trevecca, and Belmont basically dominated our conference and garnered some national titles.
