I read in today's local paper that Drew Masingale (Raleigh/Lawson recruit) has transferred to Tennessee Weslyan. This will open up another spot for Serrano.

21 returning players and 18 newcomers.

Arencenbia or anyone, how big is the usual roster for college baseball? 39 just seems like alot of players to have on a baseball roster.

35 by the time the season starts. You can have a few more during fall ball and then make cuts.

Well how did the try outs go last night? how many guys showed up? Will Serrano pick up any of them?

There were about 20 guys at the walk-on tryout. Don't know if any made it, but all the coaches were out of the dugout watching. With that many eyes on that few players, if anyone was good enough, they'd get seen.
