Seems very early. I wonder if he is just that crazy about that vols, or is that the only interest he is being shown right now?!? Or family pressure to follow brother?

I also found this Cordell Passley

probably good pub for Pearl but I don't think a commit from a high school freshman holds much weight at this point.

He is the brother of Anthony Passley who signed with Pearl at UWM. He is already a very well regarded prospect on the national level and is likely to be one of the top point guards in the country in his class. It is very early, so anything could happen, but its still an encouraging sign. Very good player.

Cordell Passley 6-3 Combo Guard Class of '08 Pike High School. Indianapolis Ind.
He is the only Freshman invited to the NIKE camp last summer.
Highly reguarded rising Sophomore

Pike High School has produced recent players:
Notre Dame's Chris Thomas, Indiana's Robert Vaden, David Teague at Purdue and former Mr. Basketball in Indiana, Justin Gage, who is at Xavier.

Considering he will more than likely be the top or one of the top 5 guards in his class, yes it does.

Good stuff. When Brentwood Academy's Brandon Wright was 15, I told my old high school coach(Ricardo Patton of the Univ. of Colorado) he better be recruiting this kid now...it's turning out that he's one of the top prospects in the nation, and considered a possible nba draft lottery pick..he want even look at UT. But Duke, NC, and Kentucky are courting his services....If we could get him and held on to Smith, then possibly Gordon...put those guys with Lofton...one could only imagine.
