Man u talk about a bunch of yes men. Kesling and his side kicks must think UT is 10-0 or something. I gotta tell u one caller called and told Fulmer he was the main problem with the program, it didnt take um long to cut him off, i thought i was going to laugh my butt off. One caller asked him if he had another year like this one does he think he would get fired. U can sure tell Fulmer cant wait for this year to end.

Same thing happened last week or the week before.

If you don't blow sunshine up Fulmer's ass, they will cut you off.

You could see Fulmer visably getting red after game and discussing problems. His best move would be to take negative calls and respond. Just say, "We are screwed up. And I will fix it." If not, he won't be around to try to fix it. He expects our boys to own up to mistakes. He needs to also.

Fulmer is still making excuses and blaming everyone but himself, and it's the worst possible thing he could be doing right now.

His pride just will not let him admit any wrong...ever.

You are exaclty right. He won't do it but if he could he needs to swallow pride and admit mistakes.

Believe they are working to get back up. Need good adult supervision to do so. Fundamentals are lacking. This is what Cutcliffe or new OC will hopefully bring.

I don't know why coaches even do these call in shows. They all sound the exact same and there's rarely any news.

For starters, it's part of their contract money to do them.

Fulmer is almost hilarious with his level of delusion, though. He has it down to an artform. He really believes we're just a play or 300 away from being right in the "hunt and the mix."

After we ran for 100 yards, fumbled a punt, and scored 3 pts against BAMA he said we'd found our offensive identity and turned the corner on special teams...LMAO!

I know they have to do them, but I just wish they'd get rid of the call in part of the show. Coaches won't answer half the questions and 75% of the callers sound like they have an IQ of 37.

They loving doing shows after great games. They don't like telling it like it is after the bad games. Tell it like it both ways.

i heard that, they treat Fulmer as if he was a legend or something

If it were you taking the calls would you listen to all the crackpots calling for your job? I mean he knows there is a problem and he knows that he has at least next yr to fix it (if not more) so why listen to all the Monday morning QBs and HC's?

I agree . . . I think most coach's shows suck no matter what the outcome of the game is.

I know what you mean GAVol. It's almost conspiratorial how so many empty-spacers can get on one show.

I think it would be a lot better if:

1. Take Bob Kesling off of it. He's unbearable.

2. Let Tim Priest, Francis, and Hubbs ask questions.

3. Dump the call-in.

Which is even more unreasonable when you consider how big the target is and how little sunshine there is in the smokies come Winter.....

As long as we're cleaning house, let's start a campaign to get rid of Bob Kesling as well, www.replacekesling.com anyone?

I'm sick of Kesling. Never liked him, never will. His calls of the game are the worst in college football history. When I listen to the radio I find myself spacing out because he is the least descriptive announcer I've ever heard. :bad:

I was listening to pre-game the week after Sanders stepped down and Kesling and the rest of the crew couldn't have been more biased. Most of the calls were about Sanders and eventually Kesling got fed up cut some dude off and said. - OK, that's enough, let's not talk about Coach Sanders anymore. Why can't we just move on? - or something to that effect. You could tell he was really angry, almost offended that anyone was critical.

I wish Mike Keith would have come to UT instead of the Titans, he's MUCH better.
I miss John Ward :superman:

Amen, brother. I can't stand Kessling. Just the thought of having to listen to him for who knows how many more years gives me pains. The guy is a boring, yes man.
