Vol Fans in Florida

The Tennessee Ice Hockey team is coming to Fort Myers, Florida next weekend to play in the prestegious Compuware Gulf Coast Clash. The clash generally provides some of the best in club hockey action each season, showcasing some of the best club teams in the country. The winner of the Clash has made nationals every year it has been held.

The Ice Vols (12-1) are the #2 seed in the tournament, and play a tough Florida Atlantic team in the first round. For anybody interested who isn't in Florida, you can keep up with the tournament at http://hockey.fgcu.edu/clash.html or http://www.icevols.com

Round One- Friday, January 13th
Game A: Kennesaw State vs. Central Florida, 6:15pm Blue Rink
Game B: Florida-Gulf vs. Penn State-Altoona, 8:45pm Blue Rink
Game C: Tennessee vs. Florida Atlantic, 6:00pm Green Rink
Game D: MTSU vs. Northwood, 8:30pm Green Rink

Round Two- Saturday, January 14th
Game E: Loser Game A vs. Loser Game B, 5:00pm Blue Rink
Game F: Winner Game A vs. Winner Game B, 7:30pm Blue Rink
Game G: Loser Game C vs. Loser Game D, 3:30pm Green Rink

Tennessee is currently 12-1 on the season, and ranked 4th. They are in the middle of their "Drive for Five", seeking their fifth National Tournament appearance in the last ten years. :rock:
