need to realize it's CBJs first year.

I keep seeing UT fans saying "we have no chance vs UK". Do I even need to comment? UK is garbage. Yes, both teams suck but UT should win by 2-3 scores.

Talent is the biggest issue in my opinion. Most importantly, UT needs to recruit a QB for 2015. They might survive on Ferguson next year, but unless he really develops he isn't the guy UT should have for a few years.

As a UK fan, I'm sorry for the stupid comments a lot of you will receive from other UK fans. Just remind them that UT is UT and UK is UK. Always will be that way.

Wishing UT the best. It sucks to see such a great program struggle. But no way it continues for much longer. I'm still a believer in CBJ. He needs another year or two to get talent on the field.

It's not a matter of accepting failure. It seems like the majority of VN is completely giving up on the team and CBJ forever.

I don't Vol fans should be making such comments like "im 53 and will never see a winning season again" or "I hope UK beats these clowns by 50 points".

Vols have had a rough year. Don't give up CBJ though. For the umpteenth, time...talent.

Vols have had six rough years. Six. We keep setting historical records to the downside and have become the joke of the SEC. CBJ has given fans no reason to believe he can do any better than his predecessors. Maybe he can; maybe he can't. But he stunk it up bigtime his first year.

Expectations were way to high to begin with from most Vol fans. We all overrated this team.

Appreciate the optimism but this is rough. I could have accepted a loss if we gave it all on the field, played our hearts out and competed. But we didn't. Hopefully next year will be better.

I think you guys have a seriously good chance at beating us next week. You guys seem to be improving and that's good. I am a believer in CBJ but I think we need SEC caliber coordinators and QBs.

How so? Most fans expected 6-6 and a bowl game-- 7-5 if they overachieved. UT had four Top 20 classes on the field tonight, plus homefield advantage. That shouldn't be enough to squeak out 6-6?

I don't know about CBJ but I apologize for being an a**, was just furious about the loss tonight.

The talent is weak for the recruiting classes. And it's weak at some of the games most important positions (QB, WR, Secondary, etc). Even the teams preseason strength (O-Line) ended up not living up to expectations.

6 wins would have been really tough with this years schedule. Yes, it was very possible. But Mizzou and Auburn were a lot better than we thought and UT had trouble winning road games.

Vandy is a lot better. They have/had some good weapons and like it or not J Franklin is a good coach.

Thanks. I understand the frustration. I've endured years of beatdowns and tough games. Obviously it's tough to see the Vols lose games consistently in the past five years or so. Even more so for those that have never seen UT this bad in their lives.

UK is a lot better than 2-9 says. Other than UGA and Bama we've played a lot of teams close and our OOC is tougher than it should be (L'ville and WKU shouldn't be losses 2-3 years in a row).

Anyway, looking forward to the game next week. I'll be there. Hopefully players can somehow get hyped and provide a decent game.

And yes, UT needs some good coordinators. Sometimes I got fed up with UTs offensive play calling.
