Just curious as to what you Vol fans think of the Irish on your schedule this year? Is UT gonna be any good?

I think it's always fun to play Notre Dame because of their tradition but it's not been the same since they haven't been winning many games lately. As for UT I think most people expect us to have a solid team. Probably 2 losses would be a good year for us.

We can always use a win. ;)

Yes UT will be good, but the QB must get in line fast.

Tennessee will crush the Irish. There is no more luck in those gold helmets.

Go vols, peace out

I absolutely love having ND on the schedule. I cannot stand ND and cannot think of a better way to spend a saturday than being in the stands at Neyland watching the VOLS crush the Irish!!! ND better bring a whole clan of leprechauns with them this year. GO VOLS!

I don't hate Notre Dame I just think they get way too much respect with NBC and their BCS deal.

jasonms20 give us your thoughts on this years Notre Dame team. What's the word?

The thing that bothers me is that Notre Dame is overated almost every year and all the analysts seem surprised every year. The Irish are receiving all the accolades because of past performance. Does anyone agree?

Of course they do, but they earned that right. The big problem is a certain recruiting guru by the name of Lemming trying to pressure recruits to ND.

I think the Irish will suprisingly good. Their current class of sophmores is very talented (Brady Quinn) and the o-line should be much better. I think they will give the Vols a run if they can stay healthy and find some young blood for the secondary. Don't ever count ND out on the road. Florida State made that mistake two years ago and got smoked. Hopefully it will be a good game (and an ND win)

P.S. Any idea on game time or TV?

Game should be 3:30 EST on CBS (I think).

ND may have surprised FSU at home, but they do not have the talent to do any serious talent. Tyrone Willingham has turned out to be not all he was craked up to be. He may have been a good assistant, but I think his early success was due to the fact that ND got a new coach. Anyone with some attitude, could have done the same thing.
