He's been all about former players since he got here. Gonna be good for current players having these guys on campus.

What Lewis said around the 1:30 just shows how big a mistake it was not letting former players have access to the team.

Edit: in the Dooley era.

I love what Jamal said about how he's wanted to peck a few players on the shoulder and say "________________", to try and help...

Call me a sheep, but I really like what Butch is doing so far. Changing the mindset of a program that has become accustomed to losing is an important first step, in my opinion.

Agree. He will turn this team into winners, instead of losers.

There is a good energy around the program right now.

I agree. I think it is actually happening too. It has even gotten a little quieter on VN. Not sure if the naysayers are just staying away or they are having a change of heart. Either way...the atmosphere seems to be changing, and I like it.

Agree. The real test is winning but I really like what I'm seeing so far.

Nothing wrong with being a sheep my friend...as long as you have a great shepherd. And we do! :good!:

This is another thing I think that Derek Dooley will come across and probably regret. He got thrown into a fire unprepared and tried to go all "dictator" like Saban (his only mentor really). And obviously, it didn't work.

These kinds of gestures certainly can't hurt and kudos for CJM getting some love at the end. CBJ is a unique coach to what we've had in many years, and I'm glad I don't have to defend him to people because they are rooting for him too.
