Trooper. He can jump up and down and distract the enemy while I run for cover.

I'd say Chavis, the D-fense has kept this team afloat the past 2 seasons with Colonel Sanders at the helm, and yes I know we lost 6 last season but the D kept us close enough to win even after being hung out to dry by our offense and special teams on too many occasions.

Chavis, he sort of reminds me of General Omar Bradley from World War II, I would liken him to a soilder's general, he's unsung and seems to be the kind of quiet leader who goes unhearlded and gets the most out of his men. No knock on Cutcliffe, he's pretty good too, I would just prefer Chavis.

I wouldn't say the defense carried the team in 2004. We had two 1000 yard rushers, and our wide receivers all played awesome.

Ditto.

We could have been 2-9 or worse last year if the defense had been as (non) productive as the offense.
