I think the predictions are pretty close. It could be a rough week for the SEC in week 1. Florida, Georgia, Bama USCjr, TAMU, vandy, could easily lose. Kentucky doesn't have a given win, and I think most of us are at least nervous about GT.

It would be kind of crazy to see half the SEC at 0-1 after week 1. I can't remember another week one like this.

I think the GT game goes one of two ways. It either stays at less than a score lead for the whole game, or it is a major blow out in UTs favor. I just don't see this being one of those games where we stay 10-17 ahead most the game and you aren't ever nervous, but aren't totally comfortable.

I think if it is a blow out it shows good signs for the current staff. Going on the road facing a non convential offense....this game says as much as anything about preparation/coaching. Not to mention the confidence it would add going into the swamp.

My current prediction is that our talent is too much, and that Jones is a better coach/staff than I have previously thought. We overwhelm them on the line and turn the running game into a track meet. Dormady throws enough to keep the box clear and not much more. CFA has a break out game and we prove to have lost little from the good days of Hurd/Kamara. Tech's offense doesn't see the field enough to do real damage, and our defense proves adequate but not stellar.

45-17 Tennessee wins in a game that isn't in doubt by halftime. We get to see JG with about a third of the snaps, all after the game is put away. Lastly, sometime around 11pm Monday night volnation breathes a collective sigh of relief.

GT scores at least 28. 35 is very likely. If our offense isn't a juggernaut, we lose. I think we shock the world with our passing game and do so-so running it. We score 40+ and win.
