Total offense: 103rd in the nation------14th in the SEC

Total defense: 82nd in the nation-------12th in the SEC

Worley is 12th in passing (Tyler Murphy is 19th)

Rajon Neal is 8th in rushing with an average per carry of 5.4 (pretty good)

Marlin Lane is also at 5.4 ypc

Vols have no receiver in the top 35

Palardy is punting with a solid 43.8 yard average

Marlon Walls and Clowney have the same number of sacks with 2.0 each

AJ is our leading tackler, he is 9th in the SEC

Those stats reveal exactly what we are getting right now - better discipline, but no talent or playmakers.

Many of the SEC have only played 3 games, so our defensive stats aren't representative of "apples to apples" just based on yardage and scores.

Our yardage for offense should be much higher based on the fact that we have played an extra game though.

We have also played much tougher competition in 2 of our games than most other teams.

I think we are better than the current rankings in the stats at this point. Don't misunderstand me though, we still have a whole lot to work on and are nowhere near where we all want us to be.

Enlighten me before I go on a wild thread search.

It was pretty much talking about how Florida can correct their problems like the PIG TD on the spot, and Butch has no hope for us as he can't make corrections.
