Against LSU when Billy Cannon was stopped short of the goal line and we win 14-13? It was in 1958 or 59 I believe.

Yes!!!! Congrats. It was 1959 and was one of the most famous plays in UT history dubbed "The Stop". LSU was the defending National Champion and had a 19 game winning streak on the line. LSU scored a TD to close the score to 14-13 and decided to go for two. Everybody knew that Billy Cannon was going to get the ball. Vol defenders Wayne Grubb, Charley Severance and Bill Majors held the heisman trophy winner just short of the goal line.
