It would have to be really early. I’m interested in this as well, this being my first “neutral” site game. I just hope there’s a good turnout and the stadium is mostly full.
Tix are pretty high for this game. Early on offer not bad but for a good seat now it’s kinda stupid. Upper deck view stinks.

I agree they’ve gotten real high. I paid more than I wanted to for club level so we could get out of the heat some. That was a few weeks ago and they’re even higher now, I have no idea what’s driving up the price.

It’s game week and brokers believe there will be a spike in interest and prey on people’s desire for security knowing they have seats in hand.
Prices will drop on game day - especially thirty minutes prior to your walking in. At least that’s my experience. I am no fan of the secondary ticket marketplace.
I liked it much better when I could negotiate in person on Cumberland Ave and always get seats in section U or T for a fair price - now those days are long gone.

Also, I just looked and lower deck seats inside the 30s are getting scarce - so that’s part of it too.
I honestly don’t see why people pay any money to sit in upper deck. I’d much rather stay home and watch on TV. Big game at Neyland, that’s different.

1000%. Especially on opening week, scalpers are looking to cash in on people who either have the itch to spend, or the fear of regretting that they didn't spend. Never buy early unless you have some reason you need to. If you put yourself in a position where you think you can't walk away, then they have you. It's a lot easier to look like you'll walk away an hour before kickoff.

It was a much nicer world when you could walk the Strip, I agree. The semi-official secondary digital market is just organized extortion supported at the source, and there isn't any competition. Used to be, you could get scalpers to even bid against each other by taking their deal to the next guy and asking if they could do better. Mmm. Good times. Better times, I'd say.

Used to pick up a ticket from same scalper on corner of Cumberland and the now Phil Fulmer Way. Or if selling would have 2 same guys bid against each other . . Simpler days

unsure what happened overnight, but ticketmaster has taken all the seats in blue, which were the official tickets at face value and the only ones that are left are the seats in red, which are resale tickets... very shady. There were thousands and i mean thousands of unsold face value tickets in every section. I hate ticketmaster and i believe they are crooks.

Honestly I don’t understand much about online ticket sales, I do good to purchase and access mine. But they do seem real shady I hate dealing with them.

The UT Band showed a 10:45 pregame on their game schedule. Wonder if this means Vols will run through the T on the field.
