How many of you guys and gals are coming to Charleston for this 1st annual event that our Alumni association is hosting? If you haven't heard about it, check with your local alumni association or UT

Golf doesn’t like me very much, which is a shame, because I love it. My parents are in Beaufort. I might try to make it down for this. Thanks for the heads up.

It's for a great cause, raises money to give to kids in the Charleston Area scholarships and nation wide to attend UT
Bring the wife/gf. There is a dinner and all after
Amazing prizes and lots fun with fellow Vols. Always nice to turn gamecock and tiger land into Big Orange Country

Absolutely. I grew up down there. Went back a few years ago and was in one of the country clubs having dinner with my family. Went to the bar to grab a drink and ran into a gentleman (use that term loosely) who was an SC fan. This was a few years into Dooley, and of course, Spurrier had their team rolling at that point. He was incredibly obnoxious. Never liked SC or Clemson growing up.

My wife and I now live in North Myrtle Beach, so I’m just a few hours away. We’re both alums (‘05 &’ 07). I suck at golf, but definitely interested. What’s the where and when? We got engaged and married in Charleston so we love the town and love any excuse to get down there.

Edit: Nevermind, read the Facebook page. Sounds like a great time. It’s Patriot’s Point at Charleston Harbor which is where I got married. Good spot.

Where do you see the shirt? If there is one, I would buy one for a healthy profit to go to the scholarship fund.

Edit: Looked at the logo on FB. That would make a COOL T-Shirt. Could advertise the Tourney and Charleston Alumni Assoc on the back with the logo and then a small logo on a pocket in the front! I'm in to get a shirt!
