Orange bowl is one of the CFP games this year. It's sugar and rose that aren't this year so if if we win out maybe sugar but most likely citrus.
Ah ok, thanks for the info. Forgot all about them switching the games out.

Vols
In the Rose Bowl would be sublime but sadly the PAC12 is loaded and loser of Michigan and Ohio State will get that game.

Let’s get that tenth win!

Nothing sells consistency/we’re back like stacking back to back double digit win seasons. Makes me think back to those Pitt, Ole Miss, and Purdue games. Stood a chance for three in a row.

I'm not sure I would agree the PAC 12 is "loaded". Washington and Oregon are really good, but it seems some of their teams were overrated early in the season

Washington Oregon Utah USC are all solid teams. Utah and USC will drop as they all inevitably eat their own. That didn’t even count Oregon State. Easily the best conference this year.

Sorry, but that’s incorrect. The Rose and Sugar Bowl are the semifinals this year.

The Orange and Cotton are scheduled to be the semifinals for next year’s expanded playoff.

Meaning the Orange, Fiesta, Peach, and Cotton would all be available as New Years 6 bowls with at large spots (theoretically, Tennessee could be eligible for any of them…though if the team ends up 9-3 it’s likely going to need some more help to get up high enough into the rankings for the spots).

We really won't know for a few more weeks, if they're the best conference. Certainly disagree with"easily"

The Rose Bowl is a semifinal this year…and unfortunately even if it wasn’t, with the current set up contractually is that it has to be a Pac-12 vs Big Ten matchup when it’s not (regardless of any number of Pac 12 or Big Ten teams in the playoffs or where the rest of the conference is ranked).

man it would be kind of neat to see Tennessee in the rose bowl lol
They’d have to make the playoffs in a year that it’s a semifinal (like this year which…is pretty much already out the door in that regard).

In the years it’s not, it’s unfortunately contractually obligated to take a Pac-12 vs Big Ten matchup.
