Sep 23 at Arkansas* Fayetteville This will be a very close game W
Sep 30 at Florida* Gainesville, FL This one might get ugly L
Oct. 7 Duke Tuscaloosa W
Oct 14 Ole Miss* Tuscaloosa W
Oct 21 at Tennessee* Knoxville, This will be Mike Shula's first big road win W
Oct 28 Florida International Tuscaloosa W
Nov 4 Mississippi State* Tuscaloosa W
Nov 11 at LSU* Baton Rouge, LA Hard to win in Death Valley L
Nov 18 Auburn* Tuscaloosa Bama's first win in 5 years W
UT

So how do you guys think these teams will do next year?
I definitly think that UT has one of the toughest schedules in the country next year.

Real tough out of conference group of losers that Bama faces next year. Expect some less than capacity crowds at Bryant -
Denney just as your BB team's
poor attendance until we arrived yesterday. :bad:

Nevertheless, your predictions look pretty much on target.

if you seriously think bama will beat auburn next year, you got another thing coming. Bama will fall hard next year. No offense what so ever and that defense is going to slip. back to reality for your team next year.

Are you really one to talk about poor attendance for basketball? :ermm:

What's UT's attendance compared to Florida's? (Or Auburn's if O&B means you are a Tiger/War Eagle/Plainsman fan)????

If you honestly believe Bama's season will end up that way you need to take off your crimson goggles. Your offense is going from average at best to non-existent and your defense is losing some majors contributors. Keep on dreaming about Shula's first big road win :nono: :think_not:

By Orange/Blue I mean the true Orange and Blue, not navy and dark orange.

...and yes due to a mammoth building that your team has you often now see crowds upwards of 20K, but this was not so in recent years, in case you forgot. :fool:

...yada, yada, yada...
Things must really be slow in Bama...or, the moonshine is especially nasty this year. Obviously it took longer to set up the VolNation account than it took to think about this post. But, a good belly laugh is necessary each day. Thanks for mine today.

Bama with only 2 losses and Tennessee with 4? I think it's going to be the other way around.

I think most people on here are giving UF to much credit by automatically counting that one as a loss. It might very well be but we have just as much of a chance of beating them.

I think that's a pretty levelheaded assessment . . . I think it's wrong, but I think it's levelheaded. :D

#1 - You may have our record about right, but I don't see us losing to Arkansas.

#2 - You guys have Auburn, Georgia (Sort of neutral site), FSU and Tennessee ALL ON THE ROAD and LSU and Alabama as your other SEC West opponents!? That sounds like our schedule last year. If will be a miracle if you get out of that with just 2 losses.

But they'll have a top recruiting class and will be ranked high in the preseason......oh. :D

I'll tell you what . . . I saw the earlier post where somebody made the comparison between the '06 Gators and the '05 Vols and I dismissed it as typical smack talk. But after seeing that schedule, it does make you wonder. I don't think Florida will sink to winning just 5 games, but with that schedule, they could easily have a really good team and still finish with 4-5 losses.

While I, of course, believe that your predictions are ludicrous, if the Vols lose three in a row at the end of the season then I also believe we will have a new head coach to begin the '07 season. Sorry, just can't believe all that.

I edited it...I also realized that losing 3 in a row is probably too much to hope for from the Vols :whistling:

Excellent point. I obviously didn't put much thought into it. Ok ok, UF goes 1-11.
