I could have sworn Derek Dooley took over the head coaching position at Denver during the 4th quarter and overtime.

Peyton did plenty to win that one. The broncos secondary just fell apart.

Peyton has been to the Super Bowl twice; won one. Has a career win % of about 75%. Been to the playoffs about ten times. Three time MVP. Pro bowl a dozen times.

I think ole peytie pie is doing ok for himself...

I understand but Peyton wouldn't have lost if Denver's d could have stopped them in the 4th, I thought those were UT DBS back there. Also Peyton should never ever ever ever ever scramble and that pick is why Go vols

I love Peyton and think he is the greatest of all time and have always defended him against those naysayers that say he cant win the big one and always chokes. It would drive me crazy. But it is getting harder and harder to defend it and he has just added more fuel to the fire. Another loss to a team he was favored against and his last throw being an interception. These next few days will be brutal listening to the media.

I was telling my dad this. There is seriously a curse at UT and the alumni base apparently...and anyone associated w/UT. Even the controversial end to regulation had UT written all over it...I've never seen a school, a school's most famous alumni and coaches have as much bad luck as UT's...

School's most famous alumNUS. Alumnus is singular. Alumni is plural.

That's ridiculous.

In a way, I'm part joking...but there is some sort of weird bad luck going on that you can't deny.

I think you make your own luck. Bronco secondary did not show up for whatever reason. PM made one mistake at a critical time, true enough. Overall, PM played well with no supporting defense. He will be back and RISE TO THE TOP!

GBO and Go Broncos!

You right. There is no way the Baltimore WR should of got behing the Denver DBs. But he did.

It wasn't Manning fault, but it was a stupid throw and he really should know better. Plus honestly, as great as he has been in the regular season during his career, he turns a lot more average come playoff time.

Maybe; I tend to think this was his last best shot at a Super Bowl.
