If I gambled, I'd be betting that line.

I found a big problem with all the hype surrounding Cals backfield... they ran up the numbers against whiff defenses.

Please point out the powerhouse d in this group, I'll give records too:

Sacramento State 2-9
Illinois 2-9
New Mexico State 0-12
Washington 2-9
Arizona 3-8
WSU 4-7
Stanford 5-6
BYU 6-6

Well... those are the teams that Cal beat. They lost to Oregon St 5-6, USC 12-1, Oregon 10-2, and UCLA 10-2.

Those teams averaged giving up:

USC- 23 ppg
Oregon- 23 ppg
Oregon St- 33 ppg
UCLA- 34 ppg

UT gave up 18.6 ppg.

The more I research Cal and this game the better I feel about UT's prospects.
