Look, as fans we have no effect on the outcome of each individual game (except for the fans who show up and make a lot of noise at the game) which is more of a factor at a home game. However, You can analyze the games beforehand and express any concerns. I know the coaches certainly do. This is not absurb. I hope we do not lose another game this season or thru the SEC and NCAA tourneys, but logic tells me we will. Still the year has and continues to be thrilling!

I don't think anyone expects UT football to win NC's every year. We do however expect to win an SEC championship once every 5 or so years, which is realistic and we expect to go to a major bowl game at least once every five years. All that is asking is to be a top ten, top 15 program. That is not too much to ask but it is more than what we are getting. What are we paying Fulmer well over $2 million for? To go to Peach Bowls and Cotton Bowls?

Regarding basketball. Yes, Bruce Pearl will raise expectations and I don't think he would have it any other way. That is why he is such a breath of fresh air. He is competitive, hungry, and willing to work his butt off to make this basketball team the best it can be. If you can't see a contrast between the way this basketball team achieves and the way our football team has underachieved, you are blind.

Isn't it amazing though, yall, that even if we should lose today ( and I don't think we will) it will only be the 4th loss this season??
