I am by no means giving up on this season after a disappointing loss to LSU but to sooth the pain I have decided to look forward to what could be an amazing 2010 season for the Vols. As we all know next year’s team is solely dependent on whether or not smith and chism decide to leave or not but by 2010 they would be gone anyways. The way I see it we would bring in 5 recruits in the 2010 class: Selby (committed), McRae (committed), Craft (committed), Kendrick, and Nyarsuk. Selby, McRae, and Kendrick are all big time recruits, craft is definitely a solid 3 string PG and Nyarsuk has HUGE potential to be a very good player in the NCAA. Tennessee’s roster essentially breaks down into three positions: PG, Wing, and Bigs. This is how their 2010 roster would look:

PG – Selby, West, Craft
WING – Hopson, Kendrick, McRae, Tatum, Woolridge, Pearl
BIG – Williams, Negedu, Hall, Jurick, Nyarsuk

Seems to me that every single one of these guys would be able to contribute and we would have an amazing starting lineup of:

PG – Selby
G – Hopson
G – Kendrick
F – Negedu
C – Williams
6th Man: McRae

But like I said everyone on the roster would be able to contribute. This team would not have the PG issues, the shooting issues, or the defensive issues we have right now. I’m pumped! GO VOLS!

Alot of IF's we all thought Hopson was going to come right in & contribute real good at the SG spot & we all thought Maze was " The Solution " at the PG spot, look where that has got us 12-7 & hoping we can get a NCAA bid

Idk, the only real "if" i see is kendrick. The rest of that lineup is pretty much already established with current recruits/players.

Yea. We've been missing a lot of things, different things at different times. I really hope that story about that 2 star guard transfering isn't true because we need all the scholarships we can get for 2010.
