Georgia Tech, UNC, and Wake all suffered too many personnel losses to be contenders this year. NC State without Julius Hodge is also an iffy proposition. This year the Big East probably has 5-6 teams that are better than any ACC team, excluding SUNY-Durham.

As long as Roy is there they will be contending...funny thing is Terry and Hansbrough will prolly be the only two starters that will start next yr when that frosh class arrives...very talented.
