We’ve all seen the memes, I’ve posted them myself. However, that’s not who we are this year and many are struggling with that reality. Will we get back there? Yes, but probably not this year even though we look close at times. We’re a really good team that’s winning with a stout running game and stingy defense.

Yeah, it’s all in fun. I just think that the 2022 team spoiled us a bit from an offensive standpoint. If we can clean some things up, this team will be dangerous. Is the 2022 offense with the 2024 defense too much to ask?

Watching the game last night, I was impressed with Nico's accuracy. That is the best he has looked in SEC competition. Maybe the light has come on and better things are about to happen. With Georgia still to come, I really hope that was a glimpse of what is to come.

the offense is very close to putting up 40 a game. They just need to execute at a higher level. Last night it was particularly frustrating because they were literally 2-3 catches from blowing it wide open. Catch 2/3 and make 2/3 fgs and its not close.

Seeing Nico play like he did is a positive sign. The WRs are going to step up next. bru already has. So has Thornton. Brazzel is next.

I believe the Vols are a "good," not great team.
-- Nico makes too many bad decisions. (He's a Freshman but I have seen lots of Fresmen play better)
-- There should be more designed run plays for Nico.
-- Wide Receivers need hand transplants.

We have a great defense, but need more discipline to avoid penalties

We need to score early (and often) to beat Georgia. If we wait until the 2nd half to score, we will get embarrassed.

I believe the Vols will get to the SEC Championship game. Even if they lose to the Dawgs, if they play well, we will be in the Championship game.

Vandy is playing "well" but at a different level of competition. We'll beat them easily.

P.S. When James Franklin gets fired, do not hire him for ANY position.
