SIAP. From last week.

7. TENNESSEE

Signees: Cheyenne Labruzza (three-star), Terrell Bailey (four-star), Shawn Shamburger (three-star)

Analysis: The Vols dipped into Louisiana to nab two of their three commitments at the position in Labruzza and Bailey. Early work by the Vols coaches paid dividends with both players, including four-star Bailey, who was overlooked by some programs around the Southeast. Labruzza has high upside and the Vols held off a late charge from LSU to keep him in the class. Meanwhile, Shamburger comes from Georgia powerhouse program Colquitt County and flew under the radar until Tennessee pushed for his commitment. The trio might not be flashy but the overall talent helps the Vols land on this list.

With Charlton leading the DB's now , I can see the Vols having one of the best Secondary in the SEC soon .

This isnt meant to be a downer post. But next season could be a transition season with new position coaches and some new faces. I could see us 10-2 to 7-5. But if Jones doesn't get replaced. Hoping he doesnt. But i could see these new coaches being a difference maker over time. Our defense has danger good potential. I worry can the offense get a rhythm this season.

Maybe 7th in the SEC! Amirite?

We're 3rd in the SEC in this category, and strangely, 3rd in the SEC East behind Florida and Georgia. Kinda surprised Bama and LSU were not higher ranked considering their history
