Has anyone heard anything about Daniel Vasquez? It sounded like he might've left because of an injury. I could be wrong but was just wondering. Thanks in advance

Tough tourney... ECU closed out Maryland

MARYLAND 2-1
ECU 2-2
SELA 1-2
TENNESSEE 1-2

I believe every game cane down to last inning, with the exception possibly of UT/ECU game on Saturday.

Pitching was the Achilles-Heel, the walks against Maryland and SELA were horrendous and cost us these two games. I expected Cox to perform better against Maryland . . . guess not.

On the bright side, our offense is exceptional! Plate discipline has drastically improved as has our base running, now if our pitching can catch up with our bats.

A face looked back at me in the mirror this morning and said: it's the pitching stupid...I couldn't argue back...:)
Like vol66 said a few weeks ago...the hitting is ahead of the pitching...hope we can catch up...lots of ball to be played...

SEC Baseball is very unforgiving for pitching staffs that don't have command of all of their pitches. This part of the equation has to be corrected or it will be another long year in SEC play.
