Title is meant to say: Vols contact every UF commit

I love this staff...

So with an inspiring effort against Florida in their back pockets, Tennessee's coaches called every one of Florida's 15 verbal commitments for the 2010 class, according to a source close to the recruitment of those prospects.

And how about Hooker calling Cobbs a silent?

jeremy hill commited to lsu but a soft verbal also dorsey confirms he is solid to florida

Five-star defensive back Demar Dorsey (Ft. Lauderdale, Fla./Boyd Anderson) has been committed to Florida for almost one year as a soft verbal but his position with the Gators has become stronger, ESPN affiliate Web site GatorCountry.com reports.

"I was around 75-80-percent committed, but now I'm probably close to 100 person," he said after making an unofficial visit last weekend. "Seeing the atmosphere really helped, it was amazing. It was great to be at the game with the record attendance. All the fans were going crazy. It was really loud."

There is no doubt we are competing with FL in every sense of the word. I think it is great that Meyer is so thin-skinned about it! It makes it all the more fun!

haha "75-80 percent committed"

Someone send Dorsey the definition of commit.

I think I'll tell my boss I'll 75-80 percent go to work on Monday.

I understand where your coming from, but thats why its called a soft verbal, kids need to be sure about their decision, its a big one.

After the sheer giddiness of sticking it to CUM wore off, I was wondering...Why not just call the guys yer interested in/have spots for etc...Was the whole thing just a stunt to make CUM mad or what?

I don't think we really want some of those players honestly. I think the ones we will keep going hard after are Silberman, Elam, Brown, Dorsey, and Watkins...

I think I read that it started in the stands after the game Saturday. With CLK finding and talking to them after the game ended.

I don't like this. I'm not trying to be a negative nancy or anything, but this might be a backfire waiting to happen. We can't aim ALL of our guns at Florida...

I'm a bit confused, but what do I know. I think we need to win some games. I look at what Sarkisian did, beating USC with a team that was 0-12 last year...I know we've got to get some players, but a good coach can win with what he has too. I don't really know the story here, but the UF game was last Saturday and I don't see the need to grab headlines like this.

That's what I think too. I think that this is something that WE won't mention, but I think that Kiffin wants Meyer to say something about this to get the "Meyer is scared of Kiffin and Tennessee" story back out there. I'm serious when I say that I don't like this very much at all. I don't think that this is going to go over well. I'll gladly eat my words and then some when/if I'm wrong, but I really don't like this.

In Kiffin's defense, you can't get the rebound unless you're throwing elbows, but I think this is a little over the top. I don't think that it's all on the surface like we read it though. Like I said, I think that Kiffin wants Meyer to report this or comment on it so it adds to the "Meyer is scared of Kiffin" hype that ESPN and the sports media is entertaining right now.
