Playing in front of the largest home crowd since 2007 and a national television audience, Tennessee got a four-hit effort from junior Zach Osborne, but it wasn't quite enough as it dropped a 4-0 decision to defending national champion and third-ranked South Carolina in the inaugural ESPNU Thursday Night SEC Game of the Week.

Sorry but the team looked unprepared. Mental errors. no big guns to threaten the long ball. Long SEC season ahead.

10% or better were Carolina Fans. So less than 3000 fans for an SEC home sereis against the Defending National Champion. The vast majority of the home fans we students who were lured in by their frat or sorority. They were all gone by the seventh.
