He is the highest rated defensive lineman in the state of Florida and the number two defensive tackle in the country according to Scout.com. Seffner Armwood's Torrey Davis is an unblockable inside defender with size (6-4, 285) and ridiculous speed to make life miserable for opponents. After making Chamberlain miserable Friday night, he made Florida Gator fans very happy.

I know that a winning season can turn this around, but my fear is that by the time we make some forward progress that all of the top tier guys (the impact/difference makers) will be gone.

There are a lot of early commits this year rexvol. Out of the uncommitted by late in the season, you'll have to assume that many have grade/character issues. Unless there is massive flip-flopping there will not be a lot left come January.

my name is rexvol and i love the gators

anything but blind allegiance is met with sarcasm on this board, the fact that I hate the gators is why I point out how they are reeling in another class of 4 and 5 star players, but Im sure you're ok with that

No . . . pretty much everything is met with sarcasm around here.

Your point is well taken, but I think this is all to be expected after a 5-6 year. I think about 9 or 10 wins would cure a lot of recruiting ills.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding what you are saying . . . Why would kids that wait to commit be any more likely to have issues?

What I'm saying is that generally kids who have those issues will get conditional offers from the "hot" programs, if they are offered at all. Since those kids are not going to be snatched up early on their numbers will not diminish and they slowly become a larger percentage of the uncommitted pool. Simple statistics.:hi:
