The Vols were able to pick up two more wins this week and although they were'nt pretty, "a Win is stil a Win." You take a W however they come to you and deal with the problems that occured along the way before the next game. Presbyterian and Western Carolina are both teams with inferior size which Vols were able to take advantage of as we outrebounded each team by 14 rebounds +.Our defense was good in both games for the most part. Offense was good in spurts as we had scoring droughts in both games. We didnt just settle for the 3 point shot, which is proven by the amount of free throws that we took. As a player, the charity stripe is your best friend. You get a chance to take an uncontested shot or two, give an opposing team player a foul, and a take a rest from the action all at the same time. I the last segment of the W. carolina game, we were able to get some separation right when it looked like W.C. had gained enough confidence to have a chance at an upset. Thats a good sign for us, eventhough most people would like to see the Vols blow away the smaller schools. I saw some players starting to play a little better leaving me optimistic about the team achieving a flawless record in this big 6 game home strech that we are currently 3-0 in. Our next games of Xavier, Memphis, and Ole Miss will be more challenging for the Vols and will give us a good idea of where the teams stands midway through this season. VFL44

Nice write up. Nice to have a real player's perspective.

Do you ever get to watch practice? How do they compare with Kevin O's?

I caught you on the Sports Source Sunday. First time I had seen the show in a while. Are you going to be making regular appearances the rest of the season?

I sure will. I was trying to upload my segment from a couple of weeks ago to get some feedback, maybe I can get that on in the next few days. Thanks for your support!

I'm just happy to be getting some wins, no matter how bad they look. Thanks for the input.

My favorite Tennessee moment. The turn around fade jumper at Florida. Wish you were still playing.

Thanks alot and that was a special moment for me aswell! I think every player wishes that they had more eligibility at some point or another.and im no exception. Only in my dreams though...

did you get to play overseas any and what ever happened to rachard lee?

I played overseas for a long time and in the NBA's D-League aswell. Lee was overseas for a while but now he is back in the states. We actually played in cities about 45 mins from each other in France my first year out of school.
