Demetrice Morley became the Vols 7th verbal commitment this weekend. He is a DB from Miami and appears to be a VERY solid player. He apparently had commited to Florida earlier but changed his mind. Wonder why? B)

It is 8 that actually count but since Bolden was from last year I guess I don't count him. I do realize that he will count for this years class though.

Looks like we are off to a good start though.

I had been wondering where Demonte went?

but I see we do not have any LB's committ yet.... I feel that is an area we really need to hit hard!

Don't forget we still have Ayers and Mayo from last years class. Both could be nice players.

Look for Ayers to move to DE since he's up to about 260. The LBer's are in fine shape with Mayo, E. Wilson, Turner and Karl from last years class (makes this year a very selective one at LB). Also Bolden is trying to be eligible to enroll in Jan. and if Morley sticks he to can enroll in Jan and both will then count towards last year.

Don't get too excited about Morley. If Urban Meyer goes to Florida, You may see Morley flip-flop quicker than a politician.

Don't bet on Meyer. his contract is designed so that he can only opt out for certain schools and UF isn't one of them unless UF is willing to pay a 7 figure buy out.

It's good to see we are getting some more young athletid DB's. This is an area the vols are really struggling at.
