Vols have secured #1...

Team effort. Danny White. Huep. Golesh. OL. Hooker. Hyatt/receivers. RBs.

Is there really any question?

No it’s pretty much Heupel and some Golesh. If you took this group of offensive athletes and put them in UGAs offensive system…..they would be less successful than UGA. We would be scoring in the high 20s and losing some 33-28 ballgames.

Heupel programs players for success. He will adjust the Offense to fit to Milton. Guess what? it will work. When Nico takes the position he will make adjustments to fit Nico.

Because that is what CJH does with No Gimmicks just Knowledge and Experience.

I don't expect much of a drop in Offense production next year at all.

Our defense wasn’t that bad. Top 40 in points per play. Would love to know our points per drive ranking but not sure where to find it.

I believe what you are suggesting is that UT offense players as a whole are not as good as GA players as a whole... and I would agree.

There is something special in the chemistry of how this team was cobbled together by staff and the talents the staff was able to pull. There are a couple exceptional individual talents but I will remain convinced this was a total team effort.

Yes. I’m saying that the sum of this offense is vastly greater than the parts.

Worst defense in history? Did you miss the Sal Sunseri year under Dooley? This is definitely not the worst in history. Defense kept us in several games when offense was not clicking
Last week was an anomaly. Whether emotional (of which I’m in the camp) or just plain getting beaten…..it was a total one off, as far as how bad it was. They’ve been subpar all year, but serviceable. 2012 was horrid.
