According to Andy Bitter's Roanoke Times blog (after reviewing a copy of the contract provided by KNS):

– Tennessee is designated as the home team and will wear orange. Virginia Tech is the road team and will wear maroon or white. Given how much the teams’ solid-colored uniforms differ in brightness, I’d imagine a Vols orange against a Hokies maroon would probably be a safe bet.

– The on-field and replay officials will be from the Big Ten.

You're going to start seeing neutral refs in non-conference games more often.

Me too. Or even Pac-12 officials, since they're used to officiating with extreme uptempo offenses. But, this is a few years away and they have some time to suck less.

Or get worse. They can't keep up with the "action" in their poke and prod league....geez.

But the B1G? We couldn't get Big XII, PAC-12, even C-USA, MAC, or Sun Belt??? Heck even Big East...sorry American...refs would've been fine by me. After what happened in 2010, we don't want the B1G refs anywhere near UT again.
