8. Tennessee’s All-Black Alternate Uniform
Tennessee first wore all-black alternate uniforms last season in a home game against Kentucky, and the look was such a hit that the Vols now will wear it on “a more regular basis moving forward,” according to 247Sports.
The all-black jerseys and pants, which feature orange numbering and lettering, put a new spin on a uniform combination that has been traditionally simple.

I hope Tennessee mimics Oregon's plan when it comes to uniform combinations, and using it as a recruiting tool. I believe that it's a factor in this day and age with Recruits.

Wore black jerseys and orange pants against SC in 2009 - Halloween. Didn't look too bad, the white helmets just didn't go with that combo IMHO.

I like the black jerseys with orange lettering and black helmets personally. Looked very cool for KY game at Halloween and it brought us good luck too!!

I've yet to see any uniform that can come close to looking as good as our traditional home uniform for the past 75-100 years....orange jerseys and white pants.

It was fun in 2009, those bk+or+wt jerseys were the ugliest things in modern UT history. BK w OR pants.
