Senior Taylor Smart was 2-for-4 and accounted for all four of the Vols RBIs on Friday, but No. 25 Tennessee couldn't hang onto a 3-0 lead as in-state SEC rival Vanderbilt scored six runs in the middle innings to take the series opener 6-4 on Friday.

Egregious game one loss but as Elliot Ness said Never Stop Fighting Till the Fight is done.

And the Vols own the Weekend of the two Days that start with S.
Saturday Vols came back from down two runs down to their final strike which changed to 3-2 and a young Vol hit a in field hit that got two runs home, throw to home was just a little to high allowing the Vol to slide in safely.
Sunday
No drama in this one as the Vols won easily 7-0 and the throwing players at home continued for Vandy.
