I think this will be a pick 'em game or maybe UGA a slight favorite by game time.

Take care of business baby!

I would give any thing for the Vols to run on Georgia like they have done to us the past several years!

Or at the very least, not having one of linebackers bite on playaction.........

Nothing wrong with optimism as long as it doesn't turn into overconfidence.

from reading the posts the past couple of days, i'd say the fanbase is anything but over confident...i'd describe us as tight right now...and that's what i REALLY hope the team isn't. Over confidence is bad, and i've already made my feelings known about that in other threads...but if there is anything worse than being cocky it's being too tight.

it will be interesting how the team reacts to being a favorite for the 1st time this season...a favorite in a game that means something that is....

no one knew what to expect before the season, and now after 5 games, i think a lot of people are now saying...whoa, check out this TN offense...they're pretty good.

a little different than when everyone was questioning everything about this team before the season....

I would prefer GA to be the favorite... one less motivational tool for them. However, we've won as underdogs, we've won as favorites.

If we play to our ability, and continue the relatively error free football, we will win.

Agree. Additionally, I think nearly everyone in the press will pick UGA given the return of Joey T.

I think Richt will try to use the line as motivation, but to no avail by mid-week.

I'm pretty sure we were favored against Cal and that went fairly well. I have no problem with being favored. We have covered the spread in 4 of the 5 games this year. If we cover it this week, we win.

I seem to remember that the line changed the day before the game...but I can't remember if it went to Cal being favored or just a slimmer margin for us.

I got a feeling that both teams will be tight at first, and this should turn out to be one heck of a dog fight! SIC EM SMOKEY!!!!

O, don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to get a positive spin. I'm just trying to calm the negativity. If either of these teams need more motivation then what was presented before the line came out, then they probably aren't gonna be motivated after it either.

We'll be dogs by the time the game rolls around....Just like we were against Cal....We started out as the favorites against them and by the time game time rolled around we were 1.5 point dogs, so I'm not worried, it shouldn't matter if we were underdogs or not though....If we play well enough to win the game we will, reguardless of the spread
