Some non-conference games have been scheduled for UT.

Fox Sports Net has selected to televise UT's home game against Oakland Monday, Nov. 26, as well as Tennessee's home contest vs. Western Carolina on Friday, Dec. 21. Both of those game will tipoff at 7 p.m. ET.

The game against Xavier will be televised on ESPNU on December 29th, at 6:00 PM

The Memphis game will be January 4th, ESPN2, at 8:00 PM

The game against G'Town will be televised on ESPN on November 30th (times not determined)

can't wait for that G'Town game. Will for sure be screaming as loud as I can and pimpin' my orange in the president's backyard. I love the Big East OOC matchups the best. Oakland is a great choice and I'm sure anyone that's followed UT ball will be on upset alert watch for that one (sick of those guys).

The plan as of now is to make the trip to that game with a couple buddies, have to meet up.

:whistling:Wish C. Martin would take Dooley behind the shed and show hime so things

Don't you just love how some people try to hijack a thread for their own agnendas that have absolutely nothing to do with the thread. This post takes the cake in that department.

As to the thread, love the out of conference schedule it is a nice mixture of challenging games and but also could be the groundwork for some possible success against quality opposition.

Will the third time be the charm against Oakland?!

I was hoping last season's success down the stretch and our preseason expectations would lead to a better TV slate.

But, I do still find it odd that basketball picks nearly every TV game before the season even starts, but in football, you don't even know whether it's a day or night game until two weeks before the game.
